You can configure your application to access and store case and Pulse attachments in external web storage providers, such as Box or SharePoint Online. You can source content, store content, or do both.
To enable your application to access and store content in a web storage provider, configure the Content storage and Content sourcing sections in the Integration & security tab of your application rule. Ensure that you have an account with the web storage provider with a folder in which to store content and an Authentication Profile of type OAuth 2.0 for a web storage provider that will be used to authenticate the connection with the provider.
If you enable content storage, the system stores the case and Pulse attachments that you add to the cases in your application in the web storage provider. If you enable content sourcing, you can add case and Pulse attachments to the cases in your application from the web storage provider.
Note: You cannot configure content storage and sourcing for email attachments and attachments that are added by using automated processes.
